Oct. '09

Happy October! What a fun month filled with festivities...despite our trip to the E.R. with Xander, we made lots of memories this month...class trips, Waldon Farms, Ben and Drew's b-day, riding horses, trick or treating, Trunk or Treat, and getting tummy aches from eating so much candy!

Enjoy the pics!

August '09

Life at the Layton house has been a little crazy these last few months.

Our new addition, Kamry Davis Layton, was born July 1 at 7 lbs. 8 oz and only 19 1/2 inches long...a mere 2 lbs. and 2 in. shorter than her siblings.

We have moved into a new house...

Paisley and Xander have started school at Otter Creek...

Here are a few pictures from the month of August...I promise I will try...key work being TRY...to post again soon...

Thank you to all of our friends and family who have been such a support and encouragement during these past few months...not sure what we would have done without you...

Xander is 3!

Our Xander turned 3 on March 20th.
It is funny to see how he is growing up yet still there are things that keep him my little Xan Man...he loves his blankie and I'm not sure we will ever get rid of that thumb sucking. He loves his kisses (butterfly and eskimo) and "love"(hugs and snug as a bug in a rug) at night...and will get out of bed to come get them if you forgot anyone of them. It is amazing what he can do these days...and I'm sure it is because he is number two and learns everything from his big sis...he has learned to skip and does it everywhere...he loves to do puzzles and will spend 30 minutes to get it all done...he loves playing soccer...and of course I can't forget his trains...they go everywhere with him (even the potty).
We are so proud of you, Xander, and look forward to seeing what this year has in store for you!

Paisley turns 4

Paisley turned 4 on February 6, 2009 and she is all about it.
What a beautiful little girl she has become...I am of course a very proud momma. She is full of life and has such a joyful spirit about her that she lights up every room she walks into.
She is into many things these days...of course the princesses...but it is funny b/c you ask her if she is a princess and she will tell you she is a cheerleader :-). She loves playing with her friends and throws a hissy fit everytime they part. Paisley is excited to go to school and see her teacher and schoolmates. She has learned so much that it amazes me what just a 4 year old can pick up on. Xander is still her partner in crime and I pray that they remain as close as they are for as long as possible.
Paisley is the "sparkle" (if you don't know the meaning behind that, you will just have to ask) of my life and we look forward to seeing what the year ahead has in store for her.
