Reflection on Week 7

Week 7...Xander (a.k.a. Bubba according to Paisley) and Paisley are doing just great. Paisley's eyes light up now when she sees her brother...and who knows where she got the name Bubba...i'm assuming it's a version of brother or baby...but that is what she calls him. She is so gentle with him and laughs so hard when momma makes him "get her". Xander is still learning his surroundings and becoming used to this other person(Paisley) being around all the time and "loving" on him (if you know what i mean). Our days are becoming more routine...which in my eyes are a great thing. Xander is usually the first to wake up and get fed. Then we make our way downstairs and feed Paisley. We usually take Sadie (our dog) on a morning walk, and then come back to play for a little while...until Paisley goes down for a short morning nap. Xander gets fed again and then we get ready to run errands or go on a stroll with our friends at the park. Lunch is next...for both of them...then afternoon naps...then more playtime until dad gets home. Somehow in the midst of the feedings, changing diapers, and sometimes squealing for attention, I clean the house, do some laundry, on occation get dinner ready, and sometimes use the bathroom (for some reason I find myself forgetting to do that one.) It can get crazy every now and then, but boy do we have fun. They have become the best of buds already and I can't wait to watch them grow up together only to become even closer. What a blessing they are...Momma's "Miss Priss" and Momma's little prince...what a pair!
