Labor Day Weekend

Getting there to a little longer than planned...and the fact that we didn't get cell service...and the closest place to get anything was Fast Freddy's where the slogan was "Warm Beer, Lousy Food, buts Lotsa Fun" made for an interesting weekend. But of course, no matter what the circumstances, we always seem to have a great time. Our family ventured east to a place outside of Knoxville called Deerfield Resort. The name suited it perfectly because every morning we would go out on the deck to see eight or so deer grazing in the field. The weekend was very relaxing...the boys played golf and the girls laid around in the hot tub having a few heart to heart talks. We watched the football game and with the help of Aunt Amanda, Paisley can now say "Go Vols!"...something her dad was not to thrilled about. We missed Aunt Lacy and Uncle Phillip but look forward to the many more getaways in the future.
