Well we made it to Colorado and back with no major catastrophies. Paisley and Xander were great on the plane ride there...coming back was a different story. Paisley decided to throw up right before we boarded making it for a very interesting flight. Back to the trip...it was so fun seeing the Layton family. We always have the best of times when we are with them. It was snowy when we arrived and freezing cold the first couple of days. Then the sun came out and the temp. rose so that we were able to enjoy playing outside. Now as for Xander, it was like he decided to come out of his shell. We couldn't keep him away from the stairs and he was standing up and pushing every chair he could get his hands on...and talking, I couldn't believe how he actually started speaking his own little language. Paisley loved being with her cousins and though they may have been bigger than her, she took control of every situation in her own little way...poor Lauren, by the end of the day, she sure was tired of "come on Lauren, this way Lauren, do this Lauren..." She sure was a trooper.
I captured a few memories. Of course, they don't give justice to all the fun we had every day.
We sure did miss DADDY and are glad to be back home settling into somewhat of our old routine.
